A Sunday morning started inside my body and ended somewhere louder.

A friend’s post sent me back to the person I used to be before I knew I was allowed to leave.

We only meant to spend one night by the water. We came home with a question neither of us could answer.

Nothing feels off. In fact, it usually feels a little better than usual right before it happens. Warmer. Easier. Friendlier. That is what makes it so tricky. It’s hard to see the black clouds coming in when I am busy laughing with someone. Then something changes.
